Jesus is the most generous person who ever lived. He gave his life so that we might live. As Christians, we give our time, talent, and money joyfully in response to Jesus’ generosity and to help more people meet Jesus. 

A HEART OF GENEROSITY

Giving cheerfully and sacrificially is a part of worship at Temple Avenue. We give generously because God has first been generous to us. We are a church marked by radical generosity.

Our Partners

In addition to the outreach to our local city of Camarillo, we give a portion of our budget each year to individuals and organizations doing great work consistent with our mission and values. These are a few organizations that we partner with financially.

  • GCBA

    Gold Coast Baptist Association is a family of churches in a voluntary partnership, seeking together God's glory through God's leadership for carrying out the full scope of the Great Commission.

    As a family of churches, who are stronger together, we want to see God impacting lives with His presence as we worship in spirit and in truth, intentionally make disciples by sharing the Gospel, and are marked by fervent prayer.

  • CSBC

    As a church, we give a percentage of our tithes and offerings to The California Southern Baptist Convention's Cooperative Program.
    This program works by collecting those gifts and combining them with the offerings from over 2,200 other Baptist churches in California to reach people for Jesus in California, across North America and throughout the world.

Other giving channels

  • Give through our TABC app

    You can also give through our new TABC Church Center app. As a member, you already have a profile set up, you just need to access it.

    The first time you access the app to give, you will need to set up your bank account information. This app allows you to keep track of your giving and set up recurring payments. This app is a secure platform that is only for our church members. It provides a secure way to give any time by just clicking the "give" button in the app.

    You will receive an email confirmation for your gift.

  • Text2Give

    You don't have to wait until Sunday to give! You can give at any time! Just follow the instructions below. Once you set it up, all you have to do is text the number and enter the dollar amount you wish to give and press "send"! It's that easy!

    1. Open your texting on your phone and start a new text.  

    2. You will type the number "84321" where you would normally enter a phone number.

    3. Then just type the amount you wish to give in the text field (i.e. $200). 

    4. you will get a text back immediately with a link. Follow the link to connect your bank.

    Once you do that, you are set! In the future, any time you want to give, you just text "84321" and the amount and press send, and your gift is sent! 

    You will receive both a text and email confirmation of your gift.

  • Giving on Sundays

    Giving is a part of our worship to God, which is why during every gathering, we have a time of giving to allow you to respond to God's leading.
